In these difficult days for Iran, we face events that defy words. Art has long been a refuge for emotional expression and a mirror of the artist’s response to their time.

It is because of this that we gather.

With Solace, Arterial is proud to present the work of 9 talented Iranian artists living in Toronto: Shabnam Afrand, Arman Arun, Homa Bazrafshan, Behnaz Fatemi, Azadeh Pirazimian, Negar Pooya, Nina Rastgar, Sara Sattari and Babak Yaghooti.

By showing their works side by side, we can transform mourning into a shared experience, turning sorrow into solidarity, and from loss, create space for reflection, dialogue, and presence.
