Verona Sorensen

A Canadian artist, Verona Sorensen, has enjoyed a long and distinguished exhibition career in the UK, USA, Mexico, and Canada. Her paintings often depict ‘interstellar’ landscapes where concrete forms mingle with elusive space. As a spiritually inclined individual in a technology-dominated world, she strives to find a balance between these realities. In her paintings, she explores the way complimentary and contrasting colors create depth in a play of intertwining the foreground and background. She is interested in how colours can pop out boldly, while at the same time be soothing to the eye. Sorensen currently lives and works in Quebec
